Structure of Solar-Powered Seawater Pumps

Solar-powered seawater pumps typically refer to solar-driven pumping equipment used in applications such as seawater desalination, coastal aquaculture, or island water supply. Their core structure is based on a solar photovoltaic water pumping system and is specially designed for the corrosive environment of seawater. The overall structure mainly consists of the following three parts:

 

Solar cell arrays (photovoltaic panels)
Function: Directly converts solar radiation energy into DC power to power the entire system.
Features: Typically uses weather-resistant components to adapt to the high salt spray and high humidity environments of coastal areas. Their power specifications (e.g., 35W to 55kW) are configured according to the required head and daily water supply.

 

Photovoltaic water pumping inverter (intelligent controller)

Function: This is the "brain" of the system, responsible for core control and energy conversion.

 

Water pump (core actuator)

Function: To extract seawater from water sources (such as sea level, deep wells) and transport it to target locations (such as reservoirs, desalination equipment, or irrigation systems).
